Names from Alice in Wonderland for your pet
Ask your vet about your own pet. This page is general information from the sources below.
Lewis Carroll wrote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland in 1865 and Through the Looking-Glass in 1871. Alice has a real cat at home, Dinah, and talks about her all the way down the rabbit hole. In the second book, Dinah's kittens are Kitty, who is black, and Snowdrop, who is white: two ready-made names for a pair of cats.
