Can't agree on a pet name? Everyone adds their favorites, everyone votes once, and the name with the most votes wins. The whole vote lives in this page's link, so you can pass one phone around the table or send the link to a grandparent. When you're done, print a "Welcome home" card with the winning name.

Where is our vote kept?
Only in the link. Everything after the # in this page's address is the list of names and their votes, and browsers never send that part to a server, so we never see it. Close the page without copying the link and the vote is gone. Anyone you send the link to can see the names and add a vote.
Fair-vote tips for families
- Let every child add one or two names before anyone votes.
- Vote in secret: each person takes the phone to another room.
- A tie? Vote again on just the tied names, or call each one and see which gets a happy look.
