About Peabody Pets
The family pet site: choose the right pet, share the care with your children, keep your pet safe and keep its records, free, with no ads, no affiliate links and nothing to sell.
Peabody Pets is the family pet site: help choosing the right pet (or deciding to wait), care shared between grown-ups and children, what's safe for your pet to eat, records you keep yourself, and gentle help saying goodbye. Every pet owner is welcome; families are who it's built around.
What we promise
- Free, with no ads, no affiliate links and no sponsored ranking, ever. When we name a product or a programme, we link to its maker's own page, with no tracking, and nobody paid to be there.
- No account to use anything. Every tool works the first time you open it.
- Nothing about your child or your pet is stored on our servers. Names, dates and records stay in your browser, in a file you keep, or on paper.
- Every fact has a source and a date. Health, safety, law and money facts come from primary sources, and each page says when it was last checked.
- Safe for children to see. Peabody Pets is written for grown-ups, and it's fine if a child reads over your shoulder.
Who makes it
Peabody Pets is made by Peabody, the free reading and learning site for children at peabody.kids. Peabody's pages are written with help from AI and checked by people. Something wrong or missing? Write to hello@peabody.kids and we'll fix it.
