Can dogs eat grapes?
No. Never share grapes with dogs; call your vet or a poison line if some is eaten. Pet Poison Helpline says grapes are toxic to dogs and can cause stomach upset followed closely by kidney injury. It gives no safe amount. Its raisin guide says some dogs got very sick from small amounts, so any amount is treated as an emergency. The ASPCA says the suspected toxin is tartaric acid.
